Also on deck, is a wood-fired hot tub, where you can soak beneath the vast, star-studded sky. Complete with al fresco pizza oven and Kamodo Joe BBQ, this is a haven for those seeking the ultimate in relaxation, where the beauty of the natural world is the backdrop to unforgettable moments of peace and rejuvenation.

Living Space

The living space is a harmonious blend of comfort, style, and the beauty of nature. An equipped kitchen complete with sleek countertops, is a haven for culinary enthusiasts, inviting you to craft a hearty meal or simply enjoy a morning coffee with the enclosure of trees as your backdrop. A generous, plush sofa stretches across the room, promising hours of relaxation in front of a crackling fire. The expansive windows frame this secluded pocket of nature, allowing the outdoors to seamlessly merge with the interior, making each moment a connection with the tranquil surroundings. To complete the experience, the cabin boasts a bathroom with a compost loo and shower. This living space is a sanctuary where luxury and the wonders of nature coexist, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Bedroom

Indulge in the epitome of opulence within our luxurious cabin bedroom. As you step inside, your eyes are immediately drawn to the grand super king-size bed adorned with sumptuous linens, promising nights of unparalleled comfort and relaxation. The room’s crowning jewel is the star-gazing window, strategically placed above the bed to offer you an uninterrupted view of the night sky, allowing you to drift off to sleep under a canopy of twinkling stars. To complete the experience, a regal roll-top bath stands proudly in the corner, beckoning you to submerge in a sea of bubbles and take in the surrounding natural beauty through oversized windows. It’s a sanctuary of serenity, where rustic charm meets modern luxury, inviting you to unwind and escape the demands of everyday life.

The Important Stuff

Please note the walk to the Scandi Cabin is approximately 400 m from the parking area along a stoned track. The cabin is located around 50 m away from other buildings.

Onsite parking is available; however, there is no vehicular access directly to the cabins. A wheelbarrow is provided for luggage, though rucksacks are recommended. Footpaths to the Scandi Cabin are not lit, so please bring torches and appropriate footwear such as wellies or walking boots, particularly during wetter months.

Initial firewood is provided. Additional firewood can be purchased onsite via an honesty box or by bank transfer.

Please be aware that traffic noise can be heard at times.

Phone signal is dependent on your provider. If this is important to you, we recommend checking coverage with your provider before booking or arriving. There is, however, wifi available in the cabin.

There are solar USB charging points only, suitable for mobile phones and other portable devices. There are no 3-pin plug sockets.

We will send an information pack prior to your visit. If you do not receive this a few days before your check-in, please contact us, as we are not often onsite.

Unfortunately, the Scandi Cabin is not suitable for pets. If you have a dog and wish to bring them with you, we recommend booking the Nova Dome or A-Frame, where well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional charge. We kindly ask that guests respect the space by keeping pets off soft furnishings. Please note that any damage caused will be charged for (including muddy bedding).

Sleeping Arrangements

The Scandi Cabin features one super-king-size bed.

Large glass windows flood the cabin with natural light. During the summer months, this may result in early mornings; if this could be an issue, we recommend bringing an eye mask.

Additional space is available.

Babes in arms are welcome; however, please bring your own cot and any necessary equipment.

"We stayed for 3 nights in the Scandi cabin. Sheer bliss! Lying in a super comfy bed at night and being able to look at the stars in the sky was an unforgettable experience. A beautiful copper bath and wood burner gave the cabin a luxurious feel. However, perhaps the most important feature is the cabin’s seclusion and the overall feeling of tranquility and being enveloped by nature. The sauna and hot tub are added bonuses.
