Outside
You can take in the feel of nurtured nature over morning coffee on the deck outside looking across the neighbouring vineyard, then drift down the valley and explore it along the meandering streams. You’ll spot sheep and maybe even hear the knock of woodpeckers echo through the beautiful scenery of the valley. Then at nightfall, stargaze from the copper outdoor bath, reviling in the clarity of the night skies or rustle up pizzas in the wood-fired pizza oven, all from your private balcony in the trees. Enjoy dinner by the crackling outdoor log burner as you sit back and take in the quiet rustle of nature.

Living Space
Whilst you may be out exploring the beautiful scenic local area in the day, there is plenty to come back to. Return home to a decadent shower, an easy dinner cooked on the gas hob, a wood burner to snuggle up by and lounge chairs to read a book in. All our spaces have been built off-grid with compost loos, solar power (so best to leave the hairdryer at home) and fresh spring water running through the taps. So light the fire, poor a glass and set up one of the board games, maybe Scrabble…its time for a triple word score.
Bedroom
One of our favourite elements of the Treehouse…waking up with views across the valley from the sumptious super kingsize bed. Fling the doors open and let birdsong fill the space, stick the moka coffee pot on and look out across the valley contemplating your adventure for the day.
The Important Stuff
Please note the walk to the treehouse is uneven and uphill, access is up a flight of stairs.
It is 200m away from other buildings.
Onsite parking is available, but no vehicular access to the cabins, a wheelbarrow is provided for luggage (rucksacks are recommended!)
Footpaths to the treehouse are not lit
Traffic noise can be heard at times
Please bring torches, and appropriate footwear (especially in wetter months)
Initial firewood is provided, additional can be purchased via an honesty box or bank transfer whilst onsite.
Phone signal is dependent on the provider – if this is important for you, please make sure to check before you book/arrive with your provider. There is, however, wifi available in this cabin.
There are solar USB charging points only, suitable for mobile phones, and other portable devices, but there are no 3-pin plugs.
We will send an information pack prior to your visit and if you don’t receive a few days before your check in, please contact us as we are not often on site.
One well-behaved pet is welcome at The Treehouse (an additional charge applies) but we ask that guests are respectful to the space by keeping pets off soft furnishings, and would like to point out that any damage caused will be charged for. This includes muddy bedding.
Sleeping Arrangements
There is one super-king sized bed.
Large glass windows flood the Treehouse with light but in summer months this can cause early mornings, if this is a problem please pack an eye mask.
Extra space available
There is space for 1 pet (£20 per pet per stay). Please bring your own equipment and ensure to add your pet as an extra at checkout.
Babes in arms are welcome but please bring your own cot/ equipment.
