Tasting and Distilleries

Discover some of our favourite local producers, offering tours, tastings, and the chance to enjoy locally made drinks and food.

Black Mountains Botanicals

Black Mountains Distillery was founded by a gin-loving engineer and a country pub owner with a shared passion for quality spirits.

What began as a late-night idea is now a collection of bold, carefully crafted drinks, along with making and tasting experiences.

White Heron Estate

White Heron Drinks offers the chance to visit a working British drinks estate and enjoy tastings of their award-winning fruit liqueurs and sparkling wine.

Guests can learn about how the drinks are made, explore the orchards and vineyards, and sample the finished products.

Gwatkin Cider (and Red Cow Restaurant)

Gwatkin Cider is a long-established Herefordshire cidery where visitors can enjoy tours and tastings of their traditional and contemporary ciders.

On site, you’ll also find the Red Cow Restaurant, perfect for relaxing with locally inspired food and a pint of cider straight from the source.

Ty Gwyn Cider

Ty Gwyn Cider offers a welcoming countryside experience with cider tastings and the chance to learn about how their well-loved traditional ciders are made.
